Our digital home cage monitoring system allows scientists to collect digital biomarkers, helps them advance their research and test the safety & efficacy of novel drugs. Our solution integrates a retrofittable hardware with bespoke software, all enhanced by cutting-edge computer vision technology.

Our partnership with leading research facilities and our customer base from the pharmaceutical industry provides us with unique access to data from the laboratory. Important aspect: Our solution will help to reduce animal experiments by producing better and more reliable data.

We are seeking a hands-on computer vision specialist to join us as CTO and co-founder and lead the transformation of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) into a fully scalable, industrialized offering.

Your responsibilities

• Hands-on development of our computer vision solution.
• Take ownership of our technology roadmap, make critical architecture decisions, and navigate "make vs. buy" choices.
• Establish and lead a dedicated in-house computer vision team.
• Establish and improve a best practice AI development pipeline.

Your profile

• You have a track record of building computer vision products with deployment, monitoring and scaling solutions.
• You have experience with embedded systems, camera technology and video streaming and processing.
• Hands-on: You are able to and willing to build out the solution yourself until we’ve raised additional funding to scale the team.
• Experience with behavior recognition in video streams.
• Entrepreneurial: You do understand the risks and have the drive to be part of building a company and are willing to waive your salary until we have secured funding.
• You are well organized, and have the empathy to lead tech-teams supported by your clear communication skills.
